Description
Lomandra ‘Lime Tuff’ is a compact, clumping native grass prized for its fresh lime-green foliage and exceptional toughness. Bred specifically for Australian conditions, it delivers year-round colour and structure while requiring minimal maintenance. Its tidy, rounded habit makes it ideal for modern landscapes, mass plantings, and low-care gardens where reliability is key.
Flowers
Small, creamy-yellow flower spikes appear mainly in spring, held subtly above the foliage. While not highly ornamental, they add seasonal interest and attract beneficial insects.
Foliage
The narrow, arching leaves are a vibrant lime-green, creating a soft yet structured look in the landscape. The colour remains consistent throughout the year and provides excellent contrast against darker foliage plants or hard landscaping.
Form & Size
Forms a dense, rounded clump approximately 50–60cm high and wide, maintaining a neat shape without splitting or becoming untidy over time.

Maintenance
Very low maintenance. An annual trim or tidy-up can be done if required to refresh the plant, though it generally maintains its shape naturally. Extremely tolerant of neglect, heat, humidity, and dry conditions.

Where are our plants Grown and how do we grow them
- Plants are grown locally on the Sunshine Coast
- All outdoor plants are sun hardened and ready to grow
- Indoor plants are grown under 50% Shade and will transfer perfectly to indoor use
- Orchids are also grown under 50% Shade and are best brought indoors during flowering for show then returned back into a shaded area until the following flowering time
- we are Qualified horticulturists, greenkeeper as well as Qualified landscape Construction with over 35 years experience in the industry. We use Quality products and materials to grow all our plants.

How to Look after your plants like we do
- When using any Garden Care products or Fertilisers we always recommend reading the label before use
- We recommend using Earthlife crushed rock mineral on all plants when planting in the ground or in Pots.
- When planting in Pots in Our garden centre we use Rocky Point potting mixes to plant all our plants
- If planting in the ground we also recommend that you use Rocky Point garden soil around your plants at the time of planting
