Dianella Little Rev™ is a compact Australian native with striking blue-grey foliage and a neat, architectural growth habit. Its upright, strappy leaves provide excellent year-round colour and contrast, making it ideal for modern landscapes, borders and mass plantings. Hardy and low maintenance once established, Little Rev™ performs best in well-drained positions and is particularly useful where a smaller-growing Dianella is required.

Flowers
Produces small purple to blue-purple flowers during spring, typically from October to November. The delicate flowers rise above the foliage and provide additional seasonal interest.

Foliage
Attractive blue-grey to grey-green strappy foliage forms a dense, upright clump. The distinctive foliage colour provides excellent contrast against darker green plants and remains attractive throughout the year.

Fruit
Small decorative berries may develop following flowering.

Growing Conditions
Position: Full sun to part shade
Soil: Prefers well-drained soils. Avoid poorly drained positions or areas prone to waterlogging.
Water: Water regularly while establishing. Drought tolerant once established. Avoid excessive irrigation.

Wind: Tolerates exposed conditions once established
Climate: Suitable for a range of Australian conditions. In warm, humid climates such as South East Queensland, excellent drainage is particularly important. Plant in raised or freely draining garden beds and avoid areas where water collects.

Uses
Ideal for borders, edging, pathways, mass planting, modern landscapes, native gardens, commercial landscaping and areas requiring a compact, low-maintenance feature plant. Its blue-grey foliage is particularly effective when planted amongst contrasting green foliage.

Maintenance
Very low maintenance once established. Water during establishment and during extended dry periods if required. Older plants can be cut back periodically to rejuvenate the foliage and encourage fresh growth. Avoid excessive watering, particularly during humid or wet weather.

Little Rev™ is valued for its compact size, architectural form and distinctive blue-grey foliage. For best results on the Sunshine Coast, choose a well-drained position and avoid low-lying garden beds where moisture can accumulate.
