Leucospermum ‘So Sincere’ is a compact and hardy Proteaceae shrub that delivers a stunning floral display and year-round foliage interest. Its unique pincushion flowers, in rich orange-gold tones, create an eye-catching feature from late winter through spring. Perfect for small gardens, pots, and coastal landscapes, this variety combines striking appearance with low maintenance requirements.
Flowers:
Round, pincushion-style blooms in vivid orange to gold tones appear in abundance from late winter into spring. Flowers are nectar-rich, attracting birds, bees, and butterflies, and have excellent longevity when cut for arrangements.
Foliage:
Evergreen grey-green foliage with a clean, tidy appearance. The leathery leaves provide a perfect contrast to the bright blooms.
Fruit:
Woody seed capsules form after flowering, typical of the Proteaceae family.
Form and Size:
Neat, compact shrub growing approximately 1–1.2m high x 1–1.2m wide, with a rounded habit.
Growing Conditions:
Thrives in full sun in well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Tolerates coastal conditions and light frost. Drought tolerant once established. Avoid heavy clay or poorly drained soils.
Uses:
Ideal as a feature shrub, in mixed native gardens, or for container planting. Excellent choice for cut flower gardens due to its long-lasting blooms.
Maintenance:
Low maintenance. Light prune after flowering to encourage dense growth and prolonged flowering. Feed with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser in spring.
Notes:
Part of the ‘So’ series bred for compact form, vibrant colour, and prolific flowering in Australian conditions.
Companion Plants:
Pairs well with other Proteaceae such as Grevillea, Leucadendron, and Banksia, as well as drought-tolerant grasses and succulents.

Where are our plants Grown and how do we grow them
- Plants are grown locally on the Sunshine Coast
- All outdoor plants are sun hardened and ready to grow
- Indoor plants are grown under 50% Shade and will transfer perfectly to indoor use
- Orchids are also grown under 50% Shade and are best brought indoors during flowering for show then returned back into a shaded area until the following flowering time
- we are Qualified horticulturists, greenkeeper as well as Qualified landscape Construction with over 35 years experience in the industry. We use Quality products and materials to grow all our plants.

How to Look after your plants like we do
- When using any Garden Care products or Fertilisers we always recommend reading the label before use
- We recommend using Earthlife crushed rock mineral on all plants when planting in the ground or in Pots.
- When planting in Pots in Our garden centre we use Rocky Point potting mixes to plant all our plants
- If planting in the ground we also recommend that you use Rocky Point garden soil around your plants at the time of planting
