Scaevola aemula 'Aussie Salute Pink' is a hardy, low-growing Australian native ground cover that produces masses of soft pink fan-shaped flowers over an extended flowering season. Its dense, spreading habit makes it ideal for garden borders, rockeries, hanging baskets, retaining walls and containers. Heat tolerant, drought hardy and easy to grow, this colourful native is perfectly suited to Sunshine Coast gardens.
Flowers
Produces an abundance of soft pink fan-shaped flowers from spring through to autumn, with flowering often continuing for much of the year in warmer climates. The nectar-rich blooms attract native bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.
Foliage
Small, bright green foliage forms a dense carpet, providing year-round colour and an attractive contrast to the pink flowers.
Fruit
Produces small, inconspicuous fruits after flowering, which are not considered an ornamental feature.

Maintenance
Water regularly during establishment. Once established, 'Aussie Salute Pink' requires minimal watering. Light trimming after heavy flowering encourages fresh growth and repeat flowering while maintaining a neat, compact appearance. Apply a balanced slow-release fertiliser in spring if desired.
Notes
Aussie Salute Pink provides months of vibrant colour with very little maintenance. Its spreading growth helps suppress weeds, soften garden edges and brighten sunny garden spaces with a continuous display of flowers.

Where are our plants Grown and how do we grow them
- Plants are grown locally on the Sunshine Coast
- All outdoor plants are sun hardened and ready to grow
- Indoor plants are grown under 50% Shade and will transfer perfectly to indoor use
- Orchids are also grown under 50% Shade and are best brought indoors during flowering for show then returned back into a shaded area until the following flowering time

How to Look after your plants like we do
- When using any Garden Care products or Fertilisers we always recommend reading the label before use
- We recommend using Earthlife crushed rock mineral on all plants when planting in the ground or in Pots.
- When planting in Pots in Our garden centre we use Rocky Point potting mixes to plant all our plants
- If planting in the ground we also recommend that you use Rocky Point garden soil around your plants at the time of planting
